I am an Iranian / American immigrant who moved here when I was a kid. I grew up in Oakland, California where I was shaped by my experiences as an immigrant and minority within that community. In ninth grade, I was fortunate enough to get into the Mills College Upward Bound Program. Through strong mentorship and guidance, this program kept me off the streets and taught me to be a lifelong learner. I decided to go to law school when I jumped at school and had to go to Court. In law school, I was mentored by renowned criminal defense attorney Bernard “Bernie” Segal. He instilled many of the values and skills I carry forward with me in my practice. As a trial attorney I have honed my skills by learning about grit, persuasion, storytelling, improv, martial arts, and stress management. This allows me to bring my entire being to represent my clients in very difficult cases. One of those cases recently resulted in a $32,000,000 verdict. Most importantly, I am a husband and father of two. I’m motivated by my family to strive to be a better person and trial attorney.
