Brandon Yosha

Yosha Law

I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. My father, Buddy Yosha, founded Yosha Law in 1963. He was listed in every edition of Best Lawyers in America since its inception in 1983 and was a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates. More than anything, I admired the way he showed up for his clients—with passion, empathy, and a willingness to stand in the gap for people who needed it most. I always knew that if football didn’t work out, I would have the opportunity to pursue trial work and try to fill some very big shoes.

At one point in high school, I was ranked the #7 best running back prospect in the country and went on to play at the University of Miami (FL), where I lettered as a true freshman. I later transferred to Lehigh University, where I became the starting running back and scored four touchdowns in my first three games. After multiple ACL injuries, my career ended following a third knee injury. That experience—having something taken from you in an instant—shaped how I connect with the people I represent.

I graduated from Indiana University with a 3.9 GPA and went on to Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. One day after being sworn in, my father entrusted me to help try a catastrophic injury case against Indianapolis Power & Light. At mediation before my involvement, the final offer was $50,000. With only weeks to prepare, I connected with Nick Rowley and was introduced to the “Trial by Human” approach. I delivered the opening statement and closing argument and handled the direct examination of the victim’s wife. The jury returned a $20.3 million verdict.

Since then, I have focused my practice on serious injury and wrongful death cases, including jury verdicts of $10 million against Frito-Lay and $2.3 million for a young mother and her son. I’ve been recognized by Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch and Super Lawyers Rising Stars and was the youngest attorney ever recognized in Marquis Who's Who in American Law.

Today, I practice at Yosha Law, representing individuals against corporations and insurance companies. I believe the work is simple, even if it’s not easy—know your client, understand what was taken, and tell their story in a way the jury can relate.

Outside the courtroom, I enjoy scuba diving, golfing, playing pickleball, and staying active in some form every day.
