Heather Carroll, a dynamic professional who holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, joined the Vista team in 2020. With her unique specialization in areas such as job satisfaction, motivation, burnout, and organizational commitment, she brings a fresh perspective to the legal industry, one that is grounded in understanding the underlying psychology that drives great businesses.
Dr. Carroll is no stranger to the legal arena. Her journey spans over 20 years, during which she has worn many hats. From Case Manager to Litigation Paralegal, from HR Manager to Firm Operations Administrator, each role has added a new dimension to her understanding and expertise. While the majority of her experience lies in the area of personal injury, her career began at a labor union where she played a crucial role in negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement between a major US airline and their pilot group. This experience sowed the seeds for her interest in team and operational matters within a legal setting.
Fast forward many years and a doctorate later, and you'll find Heather doing what she loves most - helping legal teams thrive through increased operational efficiency. But don't let the word 'efficiency' fool you. For Dr. Carroll, it's not just about getting things done; it's about understanding the why behind the what. It's about delving into the heart of motivation, unraveling the complexities of team dynamics, and harnessing the power of leadership to drive success.
With her doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Heather is uniquely equipped to understand and leverage the psychological principles that govern the workplace. She understands that at the core of every successful business are people, and at the heart of every person is a need to feel satisfied, motivated, and committed.
Heather Carroll is a strategist and a motivator. She's the person who understands not just what makes your firm tick but why. And with this understanding, she can help you create a work environment that's not just productive but also fulfilling. She doesn't just understand people, she connects with them on a deeper level, making her an unparalleled asset in the business landscape.
Dr. Carroll resides in Colorado Springs. She enjoys spending time with her three children and all of her horses and other animals. When she’s not helping law firms, she’s traveling and exploring the great outdoors.
