I live and practice in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. I’m one of the few people in the World to experience a Cat 10 hurricane in 2017 - Irma on St Thomas and then Maria on St Croix two weeks later. Really puts “man” in perspective to the power of Nature/God. I hand-planted an orchard and have 30 different Caribbean fruit trees and also I have a “Bush Tea” garden. I’ve sued for federal voting rights for US Citizens in the Territories but lost. I’ve run for the local Senate - and lost too - but I’ll run again and one day you may see a jumbo jet of military veterans from the USVI escorting our 3 representatives to Congress. My wife is from Ukraine and her dad, brother and uncle are fighting for freedom and democracy in Ukraine. We have sent 2 dozen drones to Ukraine which helped target 2 tanks and 3 APVs. Outside of law, I’m likely chasing a 16 month old. And if I have the rare free morning - I may be paddle-boarding or fixing pot-holes.
