I was born and raised in Fresno, California. I come from a family of farmers, except for my father, who opted to become an attorney. Because of him, and my love for the tv series, Matlock, I played attorney in the front yard as a kid. Eventually, I moved to Irvine for my bachelor's degree at UC Irvine where I majored in criminology. I went to Pepperdine for law school, where I met my husband, Andy. Although I dreamed of working as a prosecutor, my aunt Kris introduced me to a friend of hers, who happened to be a prominent civil Plaintiff attorney. I clerked for him in law school and learned that I enjoyed the civil side. I live in Coto de Caza with my husband Andy and seven pets. My practice focuses on dangerous condition, product liability, and workplace accident/crossover cases. In 2022 I was awarded OCTLA’s Young Gun trial lawyer of the year. I’ve been fortunate to achieve settlements and verdicts on behalf of many deserving clients including obtaining a $30 million settlement for a woman who was catastrophically injured as a result of a trucking company’s failure to properly maintain its fleet of vehicles and a $16.5 million settlement against the City of Pasadena on a dangerous road design case involving insufficient corner sight distance that led to a devastating T-bone collision.
