I grew up between St. Louis, MO and Hilton Head, SC where I graduated from high school. I played NCAA D1 tennis at Presbyterian College for four years. During the summers I coached nationally and internationally ranked junior players and spent some time interning at a law firm. After working at a law firm then a corporate communications consultancy, I attended the University of South Carolina School of Law. After law school, I landed in Savannah and, with some good support, began trying cases. Most of my work involves serious personal injuries and maritime cases. I study the work of great trial lawyers like Rick Friedman, Nick Rowley, Pete Law, and others who take the time to share what they know with younger guys like me. I am married and I have a daughter and, as of this year, a son.
